Unction of the Sick

“Unction is the rite of anointing the sick with oil, or the laying on of hands, by which God’s grace is given for the healing of spirit, mind, and body.” ~ The Book of Common Prayer, p. 861

Members of the clergy are available to visit the sick for prayer and anointing. The order for Ministration to the Sick, and associated prayers, may be found beginning on page 453 of the Prayer Book. If you are in need of this ministry, contact a member of the clergy, or the Pastoral Care Committee.
