Little Free Pantry

Have you noticed the small structure sitting at the far Southeast corner of the parking lot?

It’s Holy Apostles’ Little Free Pantry, stocked with non-perishables such as tuna, dried milk, soup, and vegetables. You’re also likely to find paper and hygiene products there.

The purpose of the pantry is to provide emergency provisions for our food-insecure neighbors in order to bridge the gap before their next income or benefits arrive. Word is out, and our little pantry stuck back in the corner of the parking lot sees quite a bit of action.

It takes work to keep the pantry stocked and the storage area organized so that we can serve those in need when they need it most.

If you are interested in joining the team that keeps the pantry running, or simply want to learn more about this ministry, contact Deacon Gerri or Holly McDaniel - or just ask around, chances are you’ll find a current volunteer nearby!
