The Helping Hands mentoring program has been pairing Holy Apostles mentors with middle school and high school students since 2009. Holy Apostles hosts monthly sessions during which mentors work one-on-one with 6th and 7th graders from Emmanuel Center.
This mentoring relationship helps students feel encouraged in their academics and to take pride in their achievements. It also introduces them to the broad spectrum of career paths open to them and helps prepare and aid them in college admissions.
Helping Hands not only feeds hungry minds and hearts, but stomachs too! Breakfast is served at every mentoring session.
