Eucharistic MinistersLay Eucharistic Ministers have been trained and are licensed by the Bishop to administer the consecrated wine to the congregation during the Holy Eucharist; and with additional training, they may also share the sacrament with members of the congregation who are unable to be present at the celebration because of an illness or infirmity (see Eucharistic Visitor).

Typically, two Eucharistic Ministers are scheduled to serve at each Sunday morning service.

At the Sunday evening Bluegrass Mass, one Eucharistic Minister is scheduled.  This person also serves as the Lector and Intercessor, and assists the priest in setting the table.

For more information on how to volunteer as a Eucharistic Minister, call the church office at (901) 937-3830, or contact: Bob Bennett, Ministry Leader for Eucharist Ministers
