Confirmation is a sacramental rite in which persons who have been duly prepared make a mature, public affirmation of their faith and receive the laying on of hands by the bishop. It is appropriate for any baptized person who has matured in their faith, would like to renew their baptismal vows, and has not been previously been confirmed.
As you prepare for confirmation we encourage you to attend one of our Explorers Classes, offered periodically throughout the year. The class will introduce you to the Episcopal Church, cover what the Episcopal Church and in particular Church of the Holy Apostles believes, and discusses The Book of Common Prayer, some church history, our Christian Formation, stewardship, music, and youth and children's programs.
