Welcome to Holy Apostles
We extend a cordial welcome to you to worship with us, and offer these notes as a brief introduction to Church of the Holy Apostles, and to the Episcopal Church and its ways.
When you visit the Church of the Holy Apostles, you will be our respected and welcome guest. You will not be singled out in any way. You are invited to share in the worship of God with us.
We are always eager to welcome new folks into our fast-growing “flock.” Be sure to see a greeter when you visit, to receive a bag of goodies (including a visitor brochure, copy of our monthly newsletter, and a small loaf of our homemade communion bread).
So that we can get to know you better, please fill out a Visitors Card located in the pew rack. You may also fill out a an online Visitor Card HERE.
During the academic year, we have three worship services each Sunday:
- 9:00 a.m. - Christian Education for All Ages
- 10:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist (Rite II) with Children’s Chapel
- 11:15 a.m. - Fellowship in the Parish Life Center
- 5:15 p.m. - Contemplative Bluegrass Mass
As you enter the doors to the narthex of the church, an usher will hand you a service leaflet. This leaflet contains all the directions for what to do, including text for the readings, when to sit and stand, and how Communion works. If you are new to the Episcopal Church, please do not hesitate to ask the person next to you in the pew for help in becoming accustomed to the service of Holy Eucharist.
