WORSHIP & MUSIC

With an emphasis on beautiful liturgy, thought-provoking messages and excellence in music, worship at Church of the Holy Apostles provides an opportunity to give thanks and praise to God.  The more contemporary language of The Book of Common Prayer, 1979 (Rite II) is the form used at most services.  All baptized Christians are invited to receive Holy Communion at Holy Apostles.

During the 9:00 a.m. Sunday service, children from four years old through kindergarten may attend Children’s Chapel.  In Chapel, children hear and respond to the day’s Gospel lesson at their own level, sing songs, and pray together.

The 5:15 p.m. Bluegrass Mass, a come-as-you-are service, is relaxed and contemplative.  The liturgy, taken from the Church of Ireland Prayer Book, is accompanied by instrumental music provided by a team of outstanding bluegrass musicians.
